Getting started
What is DegenLand?
DegenLand is a mining simulation game set in a cyberpunk city. You build a farm of virtual miners, keep it running every day and take part in the pool seasons. Miners are game items: they produce nothing in the real world.
How much does it cost to start?
Nothing. Every new account gets a Pixel, a free and indestructible welcome miner. You can play without spending anything: you power up the farm by watching a short video and collect tokens by tap mining.
How do I sign up?
With your email and a password, or with one tap via Telegram. You can link both methods to the same account from your profile.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. DegenLand is for adults only (18 or older, or the higher age required in your country).
Can I have more than one account?
No. Only one account per person is allowed. Multiple accounts are detected and may be suspended, with their withdrawals rejected.
The farm and blocks
What is a worked block?
Every time you start the farm, each installed and working miner counts one worked block. It is the unit used to measure each miner's output and lifespan.
How do I start the farm?
By watching a short video, which powers your whole farm for 24 hours. Alternatively, you can buy a 3, 7 or 14-day extension that keeps it running without videos.
What happens if I don't start the farm?
Your miners stay idle: they don't produce and don't count worked blocks. You lose nothing, but you earn no rewards until you start it again.
What are racks?
The shelves in your home. Each rack has 4 slots; the first one is free and you can buy up to 6 in total with game tokens.
Can I mine tokens instead of SOL?
Yes. For the whole farm you choose whether to mine SOL, which can be withdrawn, or game tokens, which you spend in the game.
The miners
Which miners are there?
Six models: Pixel (basic graphics card), Bit Buddy (dual-fan GPU), Nebula (ASIC), Quasar (two-GPU rig), Pulsar (six-GPU rig) and Singularity (ASIC server). Each model has a different power and lifespan.
What is power (GH/s)?
It shows how much a miner contributes to your farm. The reward shown in the game is an estimate: it depends on the pool phase and is not guaranteed.
Do miners break?
Yes, all except the Pixel. Each model has an estimated lifespan in worked blocks; past a certain threshold it can break at a random moment within that window.
How do I repair a broken miner?
From your home, by tapping the miner. Repairs cost 30% of the model's price in tokens and reset its worked blocks to zero.
Does the Pixel break?
No, never. It is meant as a reward for free players. You can also buy more, move them to storage or sell them.
Can I buy the same miner more than once?
Yes. Each copy takes one slot and wears out independently.
Pool, halvings and seasons
What is the pool?
The shared reserve from which all players' SOL rewards are paid, according to the rules of the current season.
What is a halving?
A moment when the output of existing miners is halved. In each pool they happen at 100,000, 300,000 and 600,000 total blocks from all players.
What are generations?
At each halving a new generation of miners is released, starting at full output. Previous generations keep working at halved output.
How long does a season last?
A pool closes when it reaches 1,000,000 total blocks. Its length depends on how many players start their farm every day. A new pool opens as soon as the previous one closes.
What happens to my miners when a pool closes?
That pool's miners stop producing and are scrapped: you receive token credit to spend on miners of the new pool. Pixels stay with you and keep working. Withdrawal balances remain withdrawable.
How much is the scrap credit worth?
Up to 50% of the miner's price, as token credit. The percentage is set at closing based on the pool's conditions and never drops below 10%.
Tokens and wallets
What is the game token?
DegenLand's in-game currency. It is worth $0.01 and is used for miners, repairs, racks and extensions. It cannot be withdrawn or traded outside the game.
How do I get tokens?
By buying them with SOL from an external wallet, converting your withdrawal balance, mining tokens with your farm or by tap mining.
Why do token prices change?
Miners have a fixed price in SOL, converted to tokens every day at the SOL exchange rate. If SOL moves more than 10% in a day, the rate is updated earlier.
Which wallets do I have?
Two: the withdrawal wallet, where mined SOL arrives, and the game wallet, holding your tokens. Only the first can be withdrawn.
Withdrawals
How do I withdraw?
Save your Solana address in the wallet and submit a request. The minimum is 0.1 SOL and you can submit one request per day.
How long does it take?
Requests are checked and processed manually by the team, usually within 24–48 hours. You can see the current status in the request.
I changed my address and can't withdraw, why?
For security, withdrawals are locked for 48 hours after an address change. If someone accessed your account, you would have time to notice.
Can a request be rejected?
Yes, if the Terms are breached: multiple accounts, bots, referral abuse. The reason is always shown and, unless the account is suspended, the SOL goes back to your wallet.
Are there withdrawal fees?
[To be defined: state any network costs or fees here.]
Referrals
How does the referral program work?
Share your link: you receive 15% of what the players you invite produce. It is paid by the pool, so nothing is taken from them.
What about players who sign up without an invite?
They are assigned to the team account as referrals.
Marketplace and tap mining
Can I sell my miners?
Yes, to other players for tokens. The miner must be in storage and the price must be between 25% and 300% of the shop price.
Does a used miner keep its wear?
Yes. Whoever buys a used miner gets the same miner, with its worked blocks, its generation and its remaining lifespan. Selling it does not make it new: the only way to reset worked blocks is a repair. That's why used miners on the marketplace have different prices depending on how much they have already worked.
How is the scrap credit calculated for a miner bought used?
On the price you paid. For a miner bought new it is the list price; for a used one it is the price paid on the marketplace. If you buy a used miner at half price, the end-of-season scrap credit applies to that half.
Why is scrap credit based on the price paid and not the list price?
Because otherwise, at the end of a season, it would pay to buy used miners at the minimum price just to collect scrap credit calculated on the full price, and anyone with multiple accounts could sell miners to themselves to exploit it. Linking the credit to the price paid keeps the marketplace fair for everyone: whoever paid more receives more, and nobody profits by buying just to scrap.
What is tap mining?
A small pastime: you tap the chip and collect fractions of tokens. Each tap uses energy, which recharges by watching a video or starting the farm.
Account and security
How do I protect my account?
Link Telegram and turn on withdrawal confirmation: every request will need to be approved with one tap from the DegenLand bot. The bot also notifies you when your farm turns off or a miner breaks.
I lost access, what should I do?
